Jining Overview

Jining, the hometown of Confucius and Mencius, and the capital of the Canal, is located in the southwest of Shandong Province. It is an excellent tourist city in China and the central city of Lunan City in Shandong Province. Jining has a history of civilization of 7000 years and a long history and culture. It is one of the important birthplaces of oriental civilization and Chinese civilization. The\"three emperors and five emperors\" of ancient times left traces of their activities here. The human ancestors Fuxi, Nuwa, Huangdi, Shaohao, and Shaokang were all born in Jining; during the Spring and Autumn and Warring States Periods, they were honored by later generations as the five saints in Chinese history. The most holy Confucius, Yasheng Mencius, Fusheng Yanzi, Zongsheng Zengzi, and Shushengzi Sizi were all born here. Du Fu, Li Bai, Cao Cao and other literati writers have left footprints in Jining. Hemingmen were set up in Jining during the Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties. Emperors such as Qianlong stopped here to visit.
